Baccarat is the most popular casino game among Malaysian players. At Vegas Slot, we bring you an exciting, fair, and accessible live dealer and digital baccarat experience — playable from anywhere.
If you've ever walked into a casino — whether at Genting Highlands or on an online platform — baccarat is almost always one of the busiest tables in the room. The game has long been a favourite, not just because it's easy to pick up, but also because it offers better odds compared to many other casino games.
At Vegas Slot, we understand what makes baccarat so special for local players. That's why we offer a wide range of baccarat options — from fast-paced digital RNG versions to Live Dealer tables with real croupiers streamed live from a world-class studio. You can enjoy the feel of a real casino without ever leaving home.
The basics of baccarat are straightforward. Each round deals two hands — the "Banker" and the "Player". Your job is simply to predict which hand will come closer to 9, or whether the round will end in a tie. Unlike blackjack, you don't make any decisions about drawing extra cards — everything follows the game's fixed rules.
Card values in baccarat work a little differently from other games. Cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value. 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are all worth 0. Aces are worth 1. When a hand's total exceeds 9, only the second digit counts — for example, 7 + 8 = 15, so the hand value is 5. This is what makes baccarat uniquely compelling.
Vegas Slot offers baccarat with highly flexible betting limits, starting as low as RM5 for new players and going up to RM25,000 for VIP members looking to play big. All transactions can be made using local Malaysian payment methods such as Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay, and FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks.
Baccarat may look intimidating at first glance, but it's actually one of the easiest casino games to pick up.
Choose whether to bet on "Player", "Banker" or "Tie" before the cards are dealt. This is the only decision you need to make in baccarat.
The dealer deals two cards to the "Player" and two cards to the "Banker". All cards are dealt face up. Hand values are calculated automatically.
Third-card rules follow a fixed chart — you don't need to make any decisions. If the Player's total is 0–5, the Player draws a third card. The Banker then follows its own separate set of rules.
The hand closest to 9 wins. A Player win pays 1:1. A Banker win pays 1:1 minus a 5% commission. A Tie pays 8:1.
| Cards | Value | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 2 – 9 | Face Value | 7♠ = 7 points |
| 10, J, Q, K | 0 | K♥ = 0 points |
| Ace | 1 | A♦ = 1 point |
| Total > 9 | Second Digit Only | 7 + 8 = 15 → 5 points |
| Natural | 8 or 9 with 2 cards | No third card is dealt |
| Bet | Payout | House Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Banker | 1:1 (minus 5% commission) | 1.06% |
| Player | 1:1 | 1.24% |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.4% |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | 10.4% |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | 10.4% |
Most baccarat tables display a scorecard to help players track result trends. Here's how to read it.
The scorecard only reflects past results. It cannot reliably predict the next outcome, as every round is independent.
Many players use these patterns as a betting guide. Keep in mind though — baccarat is a statistically independent game; past patterns do not guarantee future outcomes. Treat the scorecard as a light reference, nothing more.
From classic versions to exclusive live dealer experiences — everything you need is under one platform.
The most popular baccarat variant in Malaysia and worldwide. Standard rules, six decks, and a Banker payout of 1:1 with a 5% commission. Available 24 hours a day with betting limits starting from RM5.
Play with a real croupier in a professional live studio. Watch every card move in real time via HD video streaming. Betting limits from RM20 to RM25,000 are available at Vegas Slot.
A popular variation where a Banker win pays a full 1:1 with no 5% commission. The trade-off is that a Banker win on 6 points pays only 50%. It's simpler to track, and a lot of players prefer it for that reason.
Rounds complete in 27 seconds compared to 48 seconds in standard baccarat. Cards are revealed simultaneously and the dealer moves at a faster pace. Perfect for players who want non-stop action.
An additional side bet that pays a large bonus when a hand wins by 9 or more points over the opposing hand (uncontested natural or natural win). Payouts can reach up to 30:1.
An exclusive table reserved for Vegas Slot VIP members, featuring high betting limits and a dedicated croupier. A private setting with no other players at the table. Minimum bet from RM500 per hand.
No strategy can change the mathematics of the game, but certain money management systems can help you stay in the session longer and play with more discipline.
From a purely statistical standpoint, the Banker bet carries the lowest house edge at 1.06%. Even with a 5% commission, it remains the best long-term option. Experienced players tend to stick with this bet consistently.
While the Tie payout is 8:1, its house edge reaches 14.4% — far higher than either Banker or Player. Use the Tie bet occasionally for variety, not as a core strategy.
Start with RM10. If you lose, double to RM20, then RM40, and so on. When you win, return to RM10. This system can work in the short term but requires a sizeable bankroll and high table limits.
Wager the same amount every round regardless of wins or losses. This is the safest approach for players who want to manage their losses and extend their playing time within a single session.
Before you start, decide on a loss limit (e.g. RM200) and a winning target (e.g. RM400). Once either limit is reached, stop. This discipline matters more than any betting strategy.
If the Banker wins four rounds in a row, some players keep betting on Banker. Following a trend isn't wrong — but keep in mind that statistically, each round is independent. Stop before emotions take over.
Vegas Slot has tables ranging from RM5 to RM25,000. Choose one that lets you play at least 20–30 rounds with your bankroll. Don't sit at a RM100 minimum table if you only have RM300 to work with.
Vegas Slot offers a free practice mode for baccarat. Use it to get comfortable with the interface, game pace, and third-card rules before placing real-money bets.
Every deposit at Vegas Slot is eligible for a bonus. Make sure you claim your welcome bonus or weekly cashback before starting your baccarat session — bonus funds extend your playing time at no extra cost.
